FRIDAY,

Class will include demonstration, discussion about equipment,
and protocol for Pohaku gathering and contraindications for treatment.
SATURDAY, September
13th *
A pre-dawn ceremony will be held at the ocean before sunrise
and will be followed by the gathering of your stones.
SUNDAY, September 14th
~ 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
These classes will be a hands-on supervised practice of the entire routine.
You will need to have your Pohaku stones and a set of sheets.
Laura Monaco is a licensed massage therapist specializing in Pohaku
Lomi massage
and “Emotional Freedom” technique. Laura has taught Pohaku
for ten years.

Lomi Pohaku is based on Polynesian/Hawaiian
tradition in which warmed stones (pohaku) are placed against the skin,
to aid in releasing muscle tension.
